As a community, we built the Exchange so no local business has to stand alone. What follows is the whole path — how a business enters, how it grows, how its work is recognized where everyone can see it, and how it takes its place in the life of the village.

Membership in the Exchange means the whole collective stands behind your name. BECOMING A MEMBER
Nothing here is complicated. We simply take the time to know each other — because everything that follows is built on it.
An application form and a short video application. Tell us in your own words who you are, what you offer, and what you care about. The video matters to us — we want to meet the person, not just read the form. There's no perfect script: a butcher talking over the counter, a baker in her kitchen at dawn, a teacher in the room where she works. Say it the way you'd say it to a neighbor.
The people you've already served speak for you — neighbors, longtime guests, fellow business owners, the ones who know your work best. Your community's voice is the first strand of your standing here.
A real conversation with the R52 team. We listen to what you're building, walk you through how the Exchange works, and answer everything you want to ask. It's your interview of us, too — the standard holds in both directions.

The R52 Academy is built around real work. Before you host a booth, run a tasting, or build a journey around your craft, you'll already know what to do — with people beside you the whole way. You start with the basics and grow at your own pace, as far as you choose to go.
The courses are practical and warm — how a booth runs on the night, how a class is taught well, how a tasting is poured and told. Growth here happens through real work, never seat time: you learn it, you do it beside someone who has done it, and then it's yours.
