A Community Partnership
This partnership connects two communities through something every family understands: food, care, dignity, and the hope of a better future.
Mako Children’s Fund supports vulnerable children in rural Ghana through four core pillars: Learn, Nourish, Gather, and Grow. Their work helps children access education, after-school tutoring, meals, nutrition support, safe gathering spaces, family care, wellness, and long-term opportunity.
For many of the children Mako serves, basic needs are not guaranteed. School access can be limited. Nourishment can be inconsistent. Safe after-school spaces can be difficult to find. Mako exists to help children move from uncertainty toward stability, confidence, learning, and possibility.
Future Vision
The Mako Children’s Opportunity Centre in Hohoe, Ghana, planned for 2028 (funding dependent), will expand this mission with a permanent place for learning, nourishment, wellness, creativity, community, and growth.
