As a community, we come together across cities and oceans. What you are good at — your craft, your skill, your care — travels through a living web of villages. And what your village needs finds its way home to you.

An R52 village is a community — local businesses and neighbors who choose to work as one collective, called the Exchange. The butcher, the café, the teacher, the driver, the designer. Everyone does what they are good at, and offers it to everyone else.
What holds a village together is connection. Every member is a bridge to every other member — around a table at a meetup, side by side in a workshop, face to face at a Discovery Day. Connection is where belonging starts, where ideas move, and where the collective gets its strength.
And villages do not stand alone. Village to Village joins them into one living web. What one village needs, another village already has. That is the whole idea.

And programs are run by the village itself — planners, doers, idea people, people people — neighbors doing what they are good at, together, and sharing in what they create.
